Milan is the fashion, boutiques, designers, clothes, shoes, scarves, bags, the Armani Dolci and Armani Fiori. Milan is the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle paragon and Skala.
To Milan is a very beautiful city. Buildings are giants, old industrial. Most of them cover whole blocks, most with windows only, without balconies.
But behind the big wooden doors that you see in almost every building, marked 'passo carrabile', the hidden courtyards with flowers and car parks for residents.
In the main square stands the huge Duomo. Internally, celebrated the solemn liturgy, private paragon security company employees opened the passage for believers only. Out posters and displays with fashion shows on the walls of the temple.
H Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is one of the oldest shopping centers in the world, built between 1865-1877. The arcade connects essentially two well-known squares of Scala and Duomo. Looking up you will see the glass dome roof and down the beautiful mosaics. They say the house Prada opened his first store here in the gallery in 1913.
Two stops on the metropolitana away from the Duomo is the Castello Sforzesco. Originally built by the Visconti family in the 14th century, to strengthen the defense of the city, the castle was demolished first, a century later, when the family was left without offspring and materials paragon used to reinforce the city walls. Three years later, rebuilt by Duke Francesco Sforza, then transformed into luxury residence, conquered in the 19th century by Napoleon and is now a restored building that houses museums, art exhibitions and cultural events.
But above all Milan is the fashion. In Quadrilatero d 'Oro, the Golden Square, luxurious shop windows, paragon expensive cars, well dressed gentlemen and ladies, create the cosmopolitan aura of the city.
Milan is a city for walking, walking paragon for chazologima in the windows, maybe shopping. Someone told me that it is dirt cheap street markets where you can buy everything, boots, leather, bags, shoes, paragon next to fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately I spent too little, but when I go back, for sure we will find out.
