Should have gone anyone's nose past drove the editor a hell lot of fun run in 2012 - something which, incidentally, I expect also to make in 2013. One of the first things I was out driving was a Danish classic, namely Denmark Highest or it is now called, Cycling party race - Denmark Highest. Fed Route, good depots lacked a few signs at the end, and less water this year thanks!
Cycling Parts Race has, like many other Danish jogging, taking electronic timing and registration to themselves, Sporti stood for the part Sporti also deliver results fivethirtyeight after the race online, it is 100% correct. The start was well organized, fivethirtyeight it was easy to obtain his start number and easy to find the start.
The route itself is really fivethirtyeight bold - I was very green last year (some would say I am still very green hehe), so I had joined the 60-kilometer route. It has a lot of hills in the beginning and then at the last half flattens out and be stepped carefully. At 60 km stops you do not know depot, unless you really just out and enjoy themselves, fivethirtyeight I drove anyway so slowly past the depot on top of Yding Skovhøj that I could manage to see that it was well-stocked with fruit, chocolate !! and other good things, it can not be appealed.
On the flat stretch could eventually throttle, and here I have actually my only appeal on the race for the missing little signage when you come into the vicinity of the goal. I am such a one that gives me 100% in the last mile, and then you get so both nearsightedness and the brain ceases to function optimally. This means that in places where I normally enough good to find "home" (greater Skanderborg course not) - so I have therefore need clear and clearly marked the end of the race. I had to let me catch up with the group I had put on the last climb before the goal, to be sure I was running fivethirtyeight correctly.
It draws only a little bit off in an otherwise good and well organized race, my hope is that there is thrown a few extra signs this year, so people like me who are not so good to orient themselves after a few hours on the bike, can owners on, without having to use the brain too much :) Below you can see 60 kg meter route, I reckon, moreover, by joining me to 140km years ... it's gonna be "fun". fivethirtyeight
The weather was otherwise pretty bad the first hour - which certainly can in no way blame the organizers for, but hope for better weather this year! A really good run, but remember maybe just to check your route before departure!
I ended up at a respectable 29th place - with a cutting speed of just around fivethirtyeight 30 miles per hour I can see my data from the race on Strava here: Flow Data - I should probably have checked the route a little in advance, I actually had good legs on the day and felt flying above the Owner Bavnehøj which I thought was the large increase, so it was little surprise to me and my now not-so-flying leg, when suddenly I looked up into the sky from the bottom of Yding Skovhøj. Cut The move was not wildly flamboyant with 21.2 km / h up the hill.
Close to Target, I was as described above a little confused when the signs were not entirely clear (to me) - that it might also have helped that I liiiige had looked at a map before departure, it may also recommended in all jogging, has seen that there clearly are people out in the country fivethirtyeight that thinks fivethirtyeight it's hilarious to remove the signs ... the kind organizers can obviously not guarded against, remember to look at the route prior to departure. Denmark's finest bike landscape
As an aside, it can be said that the first part of the race really is one of the nicest bike landscape fivethirtyeight Denmark fivethirtyeight has to offer, so that in itself is a pleasure to trundle through, I was unfortunately too exhausted to take pictures when I reached view points ... you gotta even climb up, so I have to take my word for it was nice - or even better, even jump on the bike Ascension (very symbolic in other
