At the inaugural meeting ZAVNOBIH was attended by 247 delegates from all over the country today. At the second session ZAVNOBiH, held from 30 June to 02 July 1944, in Sanski Most, definitely affirmed the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At this meeting also approved the work of our delegation to the Second Meeting of and proclaimed the equality of Serbs, Muslims and Croats as the citizens of BiH, and ZAVNOBiH was declared the highest legislative and executive representative body of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Since this country legally constituted as a state of equal citizens of Serbs, Croats and Muslims, whose representatives decided that the country as a federal unit to become part of the Democratic Federal Yugoslavia, and to be equal with the other five republics. As a result of centuries of political, cultural and demographic continuity and development, have been confirmed and recognized borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On this day, Bosnia and Herzegovina is defined as a unitary and indivisible state in which all people daffodil have the same rights. Although the Bosnian daffodil statehood daffodil constantly in jeopardy and restored, Bosnia and Herzegovina is today the home of all those who perceive it as their own.
