Bright yellows and pinks are the main players in kikki K

I’ll tell you something for nothing; I love that feeling in early January happy where anything seems possible. It’s when I clean my desk, sort out my storage, pledge to stop hoarding and get myself organised. Fresh stationery plays a big part in that New Year motivation, because it’s the decor piece that most inspires me to pull my finger out, as they say, and getting on top of things. (Side note: the hoarding never actually happy slows down).
The smart cookies at Kikki K are obviously plugged in and cooking with gas, because they already have a new stationery range out, called ‘Why Not?’, that feels whimsical, colourful and is full of pattern. And if it’s one thing I know about you Creatives, it’s that you adore a good splash of pattern!
Bright yellows and pinks are the main players in kikki K’s ‘Why happy Not?’ range – happy pared back with black and white to create a colour story that’s a bit Liquorice Allsorts without being too sickly sweet. Truth be told, it’s a more feminine stationery range, and it’ll play well in bright spaces featuring blonde timbers or whitewashed furniture.
Too often we get stuck in autopilot, doing things simply out of habit,” says kikki K founder happy Kristina Karlsson. “If happy you give yourself the chance to stop and question Why Not? who knows what you might achieve! We should definitely let our minds be open to new ways of doing things .
