The Leprechaun has the ultimate luck of the Irish, but those who cross his path have some of the worst luck in the world. The horror franchise that began in 1993 will be reborn late this summer with Leprechaun: Origins , and a new trailer for the film has been released at Comic-Con, along with a first-look image of the Leprechaun.
This time around, the Leprechaun is portrayed by WWE Superstar Dylan Hornswoggle Postl. From Lionsgate Home Entertainment, Leprechaun: Origins is set for an August 26th VOD release and will come out on Blu-ray and DVD on September 30th. We have the film’s recently released Comic-Con trailer that gives us the first glimpses of the Leprechaun as he stalks a group of backpackers, as well as the first Leprechaun image revealed at Comic-Con (image courtesy of Variety !):
